The Undergraduate course in Electronics was introduced in 1989. Department of Electronics has become one of the most fascinating and active department on the college campus. Electronics subject is developed with a focus on bridging the gap between Science, Engineering & Technology. The department boosts of highly qualified faculty involved in teaching as well as research. The department has well-equipped laboratories and a departmental library with good collection of books. The UG students are exposed to core as well as specialized courses in Electronics such as Basic and digital Electronics, Microcontrollers, Embedded systems, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial process control, Digital signal/image processing and communication and networking. The university updates its syllabus every three years. Department has adopted NEP pattern. The department runs value added courses in Design and Development of PCB design. The department focuses on holistic development of students by conducting student centric activities like Seminars, Poster presentation competitions, Quiz competitions, Instrument Awareness program etc. The department organizes International and National conferences, seminars to promote research culture among students and staff members.
